Playing Tips

The 5th hole is proudly sponsored by Wat-er Blast

The shortest hole on course is a “postcard” hole that has a very simple message, “Avoid the bunker at all costs”.

At 120m it’s only a wedge or nine iron for most members to a generous size target.

The left third of the green obviously provides the safer option for finding the putting surface however when the pin is not on that side there are a number of testing pin locations that will call for a very deft putting stroke.

In particular the spot tight behind the bunker needs an exact carry of the longest point of the trap, alternatively carrying the left third of this deep pot can potentially result in the ball feeding down the slope to the prized flag location.
