Hole 4
Tee Approach
Playing Tips
The 4th hole is proudly sponsored by MMD Maintenance.
Our longest hole is one of few to bring water into play. Although a short Par 5, players will be well advised to take the safe, three shot route to the cup by laying up just shy of the small pond at 217m out from the tee and before the closely mown fairway becomes light rough.
A good option from this spot is to play a 180m carry to the ideal location from which to approach the green.
This shot has some risk but trying to land and stay on the green with a long second shot is fraught with problems, two deep traps guard the front edge and if carried the likelihood of finishing in the bunker or hollow beyond the green is great.
