Geelong Golf Club is host to three PGA accredited Golf professionals who are passionate about helping you improve your game! Whether you are a novice golfer just starting your journey, or a seasoned veteran looking to shave a couple of shots off your score, our team of PGA professionals will be to able to help!

Daryl Brown
Head PGA Professional
Darrell is Geelong Golf Club’s Head PGA golf professional, bringing more than 30 years of coaching and club fitting experience to the team.
A former Australian Tour professional, Darrell now coaches internationally, working on the US PGA TOUR Champions circuit.
Available seven days a week, Darrell offers private lessons, group coaching, junior clinics, and professional club fittings tailored to every player’s needs. From beginners taking their first swing to elite players refining their game,
Darrell’s passion for coaching and deep industry knowledge have earned him a respected reputation across Australian golf.
Jack Lakin
PGA Professional
A passionate golfer from beautiful Tasmania, Jack Lakin is the newest team member of Geelong Golf Club and PGA Professional.
Recently completing the PGA Associate program under PGA Professional Paul Christie, Jack is looking forward to working alongside members and guests of Geelong Golf Club under the guidance and experience of PGA Professionals Paul Christie, Storm Ord and Darrell Brown.
As Jack steps into this new chapter of his career, we look forward to watching his growth, confidence and game grow as part of golf’s next generation of PGA Professionals.
Storm Ord
PGA Professional
Storm began playing golf at the age of 14 in local pennants and district events. In 2016, Storm joined the team at Geelong Golf Club and undertook a Traineeship under PGA Professional Paul Christie in 2018; graduating as a PGA Professional at the beginning of 2021.
Storm’s role at Geelong Golf Club as Assistant Professional consists of member and tee sheet management as well as running the popular junior and ladies clinics.
Storm enjoys helping all levels of golfers to improve their skills and enjoy
the game of golf.
